Terms and Conditions of Use

These terms and conditions of use (hereinafter "T&Cs") apply to Users of the website accessible via the URL citycosy-strasbourg.com and associated URLs (hereinafter "Website") managed by OMNIA company.

General Provisions

Any access to the Website and use of any service offered by CityCosy Strasbourg (Omnia SAS) implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

These conditions are binding throughout the duration of access to the Website and throughout the duration of the use of services by the User.

These conditions are an integral part of the Rental Agreement, and none of the parties to the agreement may deviate from them, even by mutual agreement.

CityCosy Strasbourg (Omnia SAS) reserves the right to modify the T&Cs if deemed necessary. Any access to the Website or use of Services by the User after any modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions of Use.

The User may at any time cease using the services offered on the Website but remains responsible for any prior use.

Any person using the service has a 14-day right of withdrawal as established by law.

Registration Process for the Landlord and Account Rules

An Owner's Area account is automatically created for the Landlord whose Property is published for the first time on the Website. If the Landlord requests the listing of another Property, it will be managed through the same account.

Online Booking Process for the Tenant

The Tenant making a reservation accepts these T&Cs by checking the corresponding box on the Website, pays the online service fees and the non-refundable deposit, the amounts of which are indicated on the Website.

The Tenant making a reservation on the Website forms a Rental Agreement between the Tenant and the Landlord according to the following steps:

1. The Tenant can make an online Rental Request if the "Book" button appears after entering a start date and end date of the rental on the listing of one of the Properties on the Website.

2. The Tenant is then directed to the Online Booking Form, where they can verify information about the Property, rental details, and must provide all necessary information for the formation of the Rental Agreement, including: their identity (and that of the renting company if applicable), email address, phone number, exact number of occupants, identity of the main occupant, and a free text allowing questions or useful information.

3. The "privacy policy" link allows consultation of the Website's Terms and Conditions of Use, the Rental Agreement, and related special conditions. To continue and proceed with payment of the booking fees, the Tenant must check the box certifying acceptance of these conditions.

4. They must provide requested identification documents (passport of the tenant and adult residents)

5. After clicking the "Accept and pay" button, the Tenant is directed to the payment terminal hosted on a secure page of the partner Website Stripe. They are asked to pay the booking fees. To pay, the Tenant must enter the necessary payment information and click the validation button.

6. Once payment is made and accepted by Stripe, the Rental Request is notified. CityCosy Strasbourg has twenty-four (24) hours from this notification to accept or refuse the request. Any acceptance, refusal, or expiration of the request will be notified to the Tenant in an email sent to the email address indicated in the Online Booking Form.

7. The credit card used for the Rental Request will only be charged if the rental request is accepted within forty-eight (48) hours of notification. If the request is refused, the Tenant will no longer be bound by their request and will be free to make another reservation. Their credit card will not be charged. The Rental Agreement will be void.

8. Once the rental is accepted, the Tenant is committed and the Rental Agreement is concluded.

9. Subsequently, CityCosy sends an email to the Tenant to finalize the reservation including necessary information for proper execution of the rental agreement

The Tenant agrees to provide necessary documentation to establish their identity and solvency upon request from CityCosy Strasbourg.
