Its name comes from a grain store (Stadelhof) that the cathedral's factory had ceded to the Dominicans in 1253. In 1327, a violent fire destroyed 46 houses in the street. Don't miss the sculpture of two lions holding a pretzel at number 2 of the street, a testament to Strasbourg's rich architectural heritage!
